    I am currently completing a 3.5 month internship at Youth for Christ (YFC) on the Central Coast since early 2017. It has been a challenging and hands-on experience that involved the creation of a branch marketing sector. I learnt a good deal about creating procedures and practices for day to day communication and long term marketing implementation. Strategy- I created base level documents for the branch following a re-branding roll out nationally. This included the development of a branch communication guideline, strategies for Facebook, Instagram and scheduling services including Hootsuite. Briefing - I compiled research and case studies to assist in vision for marketing campaigns and training seminars. I helped the regional team leader to create mock-ups of webpages and social media sites for various Christian organisations and presented these as viable options for their respective communication strategies. This lead me to creating working versions of these webpages and social media sites. This helped the Regional Team Leader to get projects into an active phase and generated a culture of digital awareness within YFC Central Coast. Leadership - I was essentially working in house, directly with my client. This entailed a great level of multitasking and leadership skills. I was managing current campaigns, scheduling new campaigns and learning how to navigate the world of not-for-profit organisations with very small advertising budgets. This led to delicately managing expectations and yielding high level results with free media.
