As the former Clinical Director of Innovation at Boston Children’s Hospital, I am actively seeking new opportunities to leverage my extensive experience in healthcare technology, education, and innovation. Over the past 18 years, I have spearheaded pioneering initiatives that have transformed pediatric care and clinical education through the integration of extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.At Boston Children’s Hospital, I introduced and championed the use of XR technologies, leading to the creation of CyranoHealth, the first medical app featured in the Apple Vision Pro App Store. My work has set new standards for digital health accessibility and user experience, revolutionizing healthcare delivery both within hospital walls and at home.In addition to XR, I have played a pivotal role in developing AI-driven solutions, including an internal AI policy chat to optimize decision-making and enhance efficiency. These efforts have been instrumental in driving systemic improvements.I was instrumental in establishing the virtual nursing program at Boston Children's Hospital, as part of the IHI and J&J initiative LAN core team. My responsibilities included comprehensive reporting, ensuring program fidelity, and spearheading the operationalization of the initiative. Crucially, I successfully gained the trust of the frontline staff, providing unwavering support and fostering confidence in the utilization and implementation of technology solutions.Furthermore, I founded the CAITLYNN Program, inspired by my mARk (medical Augmented Reality kit) iOS app, to support families of medically complex children transitioning from hospital to home. This program has become a beacon of support, ensuring smoother and safer transitions for both patients and caregivers.Beyond my technical and strategic contributions, I am a sought-after presenter and speaker, frequently sharing my insights and expertise at conferences and events. I am also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, working with numerous organizations to expose children to the vast possibilities of careers in healthcare.My passion extends beyond my achievements; I am dedicated to empowering others to recognize their potential and cultivate their ideas.
