I became a producer at the CBC after a brief (but very fun) stint in the world of commercial radio (Indie88, CHUM). I'm currently a Senior Producer at CBC Podcasts managing titles such as Split Screen: Kid Nation, and Split Screen: Thrill Seekers.At CBC Podcasts I show run a number of programs, and handle the development file.My love of discovering new podcasts (and talking about them) led me to host a podcast trending column for CBC Radio 1 and act as a judge for the National Media Awards Foundation, in the podcast category (naturally).I love sharing my passion for podcasting. In 2019 I became an adjunct professor for the Humber College Radio and Media Production postgraduate program. I designed the curriculum for the first podcast class offered at the college. More recently I taught podcasting to students from all over the world with the Humber Global Summer School program at the Lakeshore Campus.I love mentoring audio newbies which also led me to become a part of the CBC Internship committee, where I interview prospective interns an advise on their placements.Is podcast addiction a recognized disorder yet? Because I think I have one.
