About Kate Eckert
I commenced with Johnston Withers in January 2009 along with Andrew Mitchard and Ted Guthrie.Over the years, I have primarily assisted Andrew and Ted with the management of their practices and the commercial team. Working in the Johnston Withers’ commercial and litigation teams I assist with all aspects of a wide range of matters. I regularly assist with commercial matters including leasing, property and business transactions and licensing; litigation matters including contract and building disputes, defamation matters and debt recovery; estate planning and management; personal injury & compensation claims.Liaising with clients and my varied and challenging file load is the most enjoyable aspect of my job. I enjoy being able to assist clients experiencing difficult times and I am committed to providing all clients with an efficient, friendly and professional service.I have been a Law Society member since November 2006.
