During my time at The Coniston I have been a driver of growth; working with different departments to strengthen their offering, spending time analysing and expanding key markets and implementing branding and campaign marketing strategies for one of Yorkshire's leading destination hotels. Particular achievements include results-driven marketing campaigns that have received industry recognition, being shortlisted for a prestigious Catey Award as well as triumph at the Hotel Marketing Awards winning the ‘Best Leisure Marketing’ category for the launch of Nàdarra Spa.

In my role as Marketing Manager for the East Lancashire Railway, I managed the organisation's entire marketing efforts to ensure successful brand management, growth in visitor numbers, increase in revenue and expansion of audiences.A few of my key achievements from my six and a half years in the post include:- Increasing visitor numbers by 30% over a three year period to reach target four years earlier than anticipated- Building and nurturing relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers- Writing award-applications that have secured that organisation with six local/regional tourism awards, including Visit Lancashire's "Large Visitor Attraction of the Year" in 2014 and 2018- Increasing social media followers by over 300%- Successfully project managed the design, development and delivery of three new company websites- Increasing the number of website page views by 97% and website users by 91% over a three year period- Developing a new brand for the railway's luxury dining experiences, "Dining with Distinction", enhancing brand awareness and securing it as the No.1 Restaurant in Greater Manchester

My role as the Executive Assistant at Lake District Estates was to undertake a wide range of project and marketing related activities in connection with the successful development, operation and promotion of the group's attractions, which included residential and commercial Properties, holiday parks and visitor attractions, Ullswater ‘Steamers’ and the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, under the direction of the company’s Chief Executive and Group Marketing Manager.
