Hello! My name is Kate and I’m the owner and Head Riding Instructor at Life in Stride Riding Academy. Managing our operations fills most of my days, but my heart is in our arena where I coach young riders.As a professional, I have acquired a wide range of skills needed to run a small business. • Client relations is our top priority and where I shine. Making people feel seen and understood, and honoring my commitments to coaching our riders to the best of my ability. • Communication is my top strength. With over 20 years of teaching, my secret to educating beginners is through a fun and open dialogue, while encouraging critical thinking.• Strategic development has taught me the value in annually auditing our business and challenging everything from marketing to our target revenue. Life in Stride Riding Academy has been a top leader in the equine industry and has been featured in publications such as Horse Illustrated.Outside of the teaching arena, I compete on a national level with my horse, Dave. My favorite venues are in Scottsdale and Ocala. On our ranch my husband and I enjoy raising livestock, my endless attempts at a successful flower garden, and sunset strolls down the dirt roads.
