As a co-founder of The Saucey Sauce Company, I wear many hats supporting the efforts of getting our bold, savory, authentic Vietnamese sauces in as many kitchens as possible. Originally co-founded by two siblings, The Saucey Sauce Co. was born as a way for these refugee immigrants to stay connected to the flavors of their Vietnamese heritage. Our recipes have been passed down Ken and Toan's family from their grandmother, to their mother and now to them. In 2016, The Saucey Sauce Co. was accepted into the FOOD-X business accelerator program through our first institutional investor, SOSV. During this 16-week program, my co-founders and I were able to further develop the Saucey Sauce brand and prepare to pitch investors. We are currently raising our seed round and already in conversations with some very enthusiastic investors!

Working on this temporary project for Baang and Burne was a wonderful experience. I crafted press releases for an art show targeted to art publications, identified blog authors to pitch for promotion of 17 art show events and developed a comprehensive Twitter campaign. By promoting the gallery as a trusted source of information for their target audience we were able to increase their Twitter followers by 5% (2,025 to 2,126) in one month.
