I'm here to make a change by writing our environmental wrongs. I want to challenge peoples' environmental perceptions and behaviours and empower them to take responsibility and engage positively with the world around them. In equal measure I want my articles to hold businesses and top-level politicians to account. I'm happy to wade through large quantities of seemingly inane and dull data to find that kernel of information, synthesise information and present new belief systems to previously unchallenged and environmentally damaging ones. If it interests me I will write about it. Specialities include illegal wildlife trade, marine exploitation, corporate and political power, discourses that inhibit or promote positive environmental action and the environmental psychology to reshape it.
