Emergency Services Officer
Current• Respond to a range of emergency situations including but not limited to, fire activations, road crash rescues, vertical rescues, confined space rescues and hazardous material incidents. • Provide First Aid treatment, including triage and inter-agency communication and coordination.• Conduct random drug and alcohol testing (AOD), where required, in-line with company procedure.• Maintain the Emergency Risk Management Program as laid out by the specific site, including planning, coordinating, and participating in site emergency drills• Assist in ensuring that Emergency Management resources such as people, equipment, policies, procedures and plans meet the strategic needs of the business and site-specific requirements• Promote and adhering to a safe culture according to the allocated site safety standards, including participating constructively in site emergency facility audits.• Prepare and maintain emergency response equipment to operational standards, ensuring effective responses to site emergency events.• Participate and supporting all and any occupational health and safety initiatives in accordance with any site-specific tasks, including any data entry into the Company's safety and information management system.• Visual presence on site in a supporting capacity, field leadership and safety interactions.
