I am a part of the compliance studies field group that is responsible for collecting a variety of water samples from Alabama Power facilities. We monitor a range of levels that include but are not limited to pH, dissolved oxygen, chlorine, oxidation-reduction potential, turbidity, conductivity, and temperature. We treat our samples with chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and hydrogen peroxide before submitting the samples for further analysis. I work with a range of equipment that includes aqua troll 600, turbidity meter, light meter, chlorine meter, ISCO pump, geo pump, fume hood, dispensator, pipettes, vacutainers, printers, vehicles, and boats. I am accustomed to working in diverse environments, and I am adept at working independently or in a group setting.
