Kate Gilbert Email and Phone Number
Hello! I’m Kate Gilbert. I am a strategic project and transformational change manager, currently working within the mental health research industry. I am currently a strategic project manager for MQ Mental Health Research, where I deliver on external multi-million pound projects, embedding PPI and lived experience processes into delivery models of mental health research, as well as internal projects of organisational changes to processes, a lived experience network as well as proposal writing for income generation. My professional career started within Department for Work and Pensions, in service delivery, where I supported 16-24 year olds with multiple barriers in to work, often collaborating with multiple external partners like social workers, carers, probation officers and charities. I then progressed into operational delivery, covering the area of London and Essex, focusing on addressing performance variation amongst 100+ jobcentres, and delivering two nation-wide employment schemes. I then managed the Move to UC programme across London and Essex, safely migrating legacy benefits on to Universal Credit, using an agile delivery model to expand what started as a minimum viable product, into a national process which saw tens of thousands migrate. Alongside this, I also led on upskilling internal colleagues on supporting said customers make that transition. I’m an Economics graduate from City, University of London so have a strong background in data and statistical analysis, using descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing and regression analysis, econometrics to forecast trends using the software Stata and data management and reporting.I love to play football and netball, watch F1 and football, enjoy music and travelling. Some of my strengths include: leading and inspiring a team and group of colleagues to a common/organisational goal, planning and delivering large-scale projects from inception, creating and building senior stakeholder relationships, presenting complex information in a concise manner to varying audiences, setting strategic direction across multiple teams of colleagues and project delivery, improving KPI performance and embedding a culture around consistency of performance and developing and managing governance structures for smooth delivery.
