Log all workers compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant state workers compensation legislation and best practice standards including compliance with PYBAR’s Injury Management Policy and Plan.  Undertaking early contact with the injured employee, the supervisor/manager and treating medical practitioner to affect early assessment and intervention. Assist site RTW Coordinators in developing efficient and responsive return to work co-ordination programs for injured workers within an established injury management framework  Ensure that all Workers Compensation Medical Certificates are received assessed for suitability, accuracy and filed against the individual.  Liaison with doctors, rehabilitation providers, insurers and injured workers to create positive outcomes for injured workers and coordinating appointments with healthcare professionals when required.  Provide support, counselling and assistance to the employee to return to their pre-injury position or another position within PYBAR where possible. Maintain regular contact with the injured worker to ascertain workers status Ensure that deadlines for submitting Work Cover Claims, seeking reimbursements of compensation payments, preparing return to work plans and reimbursement of remuneration are met.  Provide statistics and information as requested by the Corporate SHET Superintendent for the Monthly Board Report.  Provide administrative support to the Corporate SHET Superintendent as required, which may include general risk management and control relating to general health and injury prevention.  At all times maintain a high level of confidentiality.  Ensure the injured workers compensation white board is current.Reconcile corporate credit cardsAssist with the update of Safety and Training corporate documentsMaintain and record all national contractor insurances to ensure liability is covered.

Some of my responsibilities were:Data entry which includes Cintellate and Promaster. Reconciliation of corporate credit cards.Minutes for Pass Meetings, Safety Meeting and various other meetings across site for both Asset Management and Ore Treatment.CRF for contractor access. Fuel Keys and Maintenance.Administration Safety Role for mining which covered Cadia East and Ridgeway.
