Provide support within the City Manager's Office in the following capacities:• Agenda Management• Coordinate and Implement Special Projects • All-America City Initiative • National Citizen Survey • Strategic Planning • Budget Development • Employee Engagement Survey and Initiatives • Community Engagement • Nextdoor Partnership • Communication efforts including website maintenance and media outreach• City of Peoria United Way Campaign Coordinator• Staff Liaison for the Metro Peoria Committee• Representative on the Police Community Relations Advisory Committee

• Complete program or management audits on State agencies as directed by a resolution passed by the Illinois General Assembly. • Work both independently as well as in a team capacity to complete audit related tasks including summarizing administrative codes, statutes, and other relevant information such as proposals and contracts. • Utilize professional skepticism and judgment to determine what information is important to meeting the needs of the audit resolution.

• Work in conjunction with the Peoria Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Council, Peoria Port Authority, and others to expand current economic activities and create new opportunities in the Peoria region. • Focus on community vibrancy, business development, and investor relations to improve Peoria’s viability for the existing community as well as new members that are attracted to the area.

• Assemble daily news publications with a concentration on health care and political news. • Research client centered issues including legislation and regulations.• Attend and report on Congressional hearings and events

• Analyzed pre-filed legislation for the Spring 2009 calendar.• Researched multiple sclerosis and the American Disabilities Act and agencies in the Metro St. Louis area that provide legal assistance for the disabled.• Entered data concerning Missouri Senators and Representatives as well as their staff.
