In April 2022 I started as Director at Fife Contemporary. This role plays to my strengths, forming and maintaining strong professional relationships with partners, colleagues and other stakeholders. I maintain my considerable experience coordinating complex arts projects, which often run concurrently, applying my eye for detail and ability to work closely with colleagues to set and achieve project and strategic goals, as well as deliver artistic excellence. Formerly I was Exhibitions Curator at Dovecot Studios where I have grew the organisation’s exhibitions and public programme to meet strategic objectives, whilst employing careful and precise budget management. I played a crucial role in helping the organisation meet the challenges of the Covid pandemic by increasing my contribution to fundraising and development targets. I also managed the digital pivot of our public programme to support organisational continuity and audience development during the pandemic.Recent significant projects include the delivery of a major retrospective of work by Scottish tapestry master weaver, Archie Brennan, produced in partnership with National Museums Scotland. Strategically important programming collaborations currently in progress with Morris & Co. and with William Morris Gallery (May Morris: Art and Life 2019) and Fashion and Textile Museum, London. Important past exhibitions include The Weavers' Apprentice and Daughters of Penelope - both at Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh.
