In my current role, I am responsible for a variety of initiatives aimed at supporting employee development and career progression, from onboarding all the way through to career advancement.I manage our apprenticeships, focusing on upskilling existing employees to grow within both their current roles and the wider business. This involves designing and implementing training programs, monitoring progress, and ensuring that employees have the resources they need to succeed.I also oversee two key programs: Elevate, which is designed to help under-represented groups excel in their careers, and Pathways, which focuses on helping employees progress within the business. For Elevate, I work on creating inclusive opportunities and providing tailored support to ensure that all participants can achieve their full potential. With Pathways, I develop career development plans and facilitate workshops to help employees navigate their career paths.Additionally, I help manage our coaching and mentoring initiatives, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth. This includes matching mentors and mentees, organizing regular check-ins, and offering resources to enhance the mentoring experience.

Designed and delivered engaging and effective learning solutions for diverse audiences across multiple subjects including sales skills, management tools, and equality & diversity training. Utilized data extensively, incorporating TNA (Training Needs Analysis), KPI measurements, and feedback to improve and enhance learning initiatives. Led the onboarding process, ensuring all new employees got the best possible start at Westcoast.

- Purchasing products in line with the needs of a range of customers from large retailers to smaller, family owned businesses. - Responsible for own budget and stock holding.- Keeping to deadlines, financial budgets and company values.- Building a strong relationship with customers and partners. - Working with the larger team to ensure group goals are met. - Presenting to customers and directors. - Involvement in marketing campaigns.

- Official communication partners and customers.- Placing orders with financial status and stock holding in mind. - Communicating with the team and ensuring support given where necessary.- Training new team members.- Ensuring paperwork, deadlines, calendars and reports for the Product Managers / Directors are up to date and any action taken where necessary. - Using advanced Excel skills and problem-solving abilities to streamline processes used within the team. - Responsible for building large documents and creating guidelines to be used company wide. - Helping with daily queries from the sales team.

- First port of call for customer orders. - Meeting tight deadlines and ensuring quick turnaround of orders.- Liaising with all teams involved in the order process; supplier, haulier, warehouse and customer.- Keep detailed and structured reports. - Ensure profit made on each order and that all costs were covered. - Training new team members.

- Recruiting & training.- Managing budgets and statistical / financial records.- Dealing with customer queries and complaints.- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
