Conducted detailed needs analysis to devise bespoke training materials for security personnel on specifically identified areas for improvement in adherence to operating procedures using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Managed the delivery of the training, working to manage stakeholder expectations and reporting against the training plan in the context of the overall plan to commission the plant. Worked together with subcontracted companies to devise and implement coping strategies for working groups of individuals who did not meet the mandated standards.

Abu Dhabi

Took over a failing business and turned it around. I delivered a 100% increase in revenue, with a sequential growth of 3 million AED (1.2 million AED of which was profit) during my time in charge. Ensured that, operationally, there was an excellent standard of care and safety in the nursery through the development of policies and procedures aligned with Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEK) standards by using regular training sessions to cascade best practice, recognizing and nurturing talent, and delegating responsibilities to encourage accountability within the team. Set the annual business plans for the nursery and drove that through to maintain consistency and predictability. Developed a multi-faceted marketing strategy that honed the brand and targeted prospective clients by participating in external events like Taste of Abu Dhabi and the School and Nursery Show, developing advertisements in national media outlets and hosting in-house events for both current and prospective clients. Became one of the first nurseries to have a Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) licensed clinic in Abu Dhabi. Project managed a 100,000 AED renovation in the nursery in accordance with ADEK and civil defense standards. Developing a business case for further expansion and the opening of other nursery branches in the city of Abu Dhabi.
