I currently work as the Head of Clinical Practice for a specialist care and education provider in the North West. My journey and professional experience has included operational and development roles influencing practice, service design and delivery. Qualifying as a Learning Disability Nurse and Social Worker in 2015, I have worked hard to maintain both professional registrations and use my skills to holistically understand and meet people's needs. I have worked in the field of autism and learning disabilities since 2008 both in children’s and adults services. I am particularly passionate about the Mental Capacity Act and reducing health inequalities for people with complex needs.
