Running 52 Katherine Street, Sandton, a 5000m2 multistory office for Paragon Group - Architects.

My first 2 years at Paragon saw me working hard in the Design Team where my skills in rapid modelling and rendering developed. We were trained weekly for 1.5 years in Revit and my knowledge grew immensely. I was also able to gain practical site knowledge on the Rosebank Link project which was underway. This is a 20 000 m2 building linking the Gautrain Rosebank to Rosebank Link and is a P3 office space with retail interface. I completed technical packages and attended consultant meetings.I was also able to start my first small project of my own which was a small bathroom renovation in Sandton. Value engineering and gaining direct experience with contractors and other consultants was a big part of this learning experience.
