My role of Supply Chain Manager focuses on developing & leading a best in class Supply Chain Management team of buyers whom ensure the supply of high quality and on time components, processes and services to support the safe and profitable operations of NMG Aerospace - West Operations. • Reduced inventory dollars by $1.457M over the course of one year, increasing 6-month average inventory turns from 4.2 to 4.9.• Utilized leadership techniques to motivate a team of buyers and drive performance against KPIs.• Drive system accuracy through data analysis and correction.• Successfully mitigate risk throughout the supply chain via supplier relationship management resulting in improved quality and on time delivery of parts to support production.• Support of audits related to ISO 9001, AS9100, customer audits for areas related to Purchasing and Control of Suppliers. • Certified lead internal auditor and on-site supplier auditor.

I work for Cargill Flavor Systems where we make thousands of flavors that end up in the food and beverages we all eat and drink every day. I am responsible for the procurement of the raw materials needed to make those flavors. This entails the soucing and negotiating necessary to secure the materials we need from various suppliers. I also am responsible for the sourcing of all MRO items for three of our sites. Over the past year I have been heading a project that when completed will allow us to monitor the stock levels on each item we use in our facilities and set up safety stock levels and reorder points to ensure appropriate inventory is kept. This will allow for more efficiency throughout our supply chain by eliminating the time that is spent counting inventory in three separate buildings, determining what is needed and then placing orders for those items. During my first eight months with the company I was able to achieve nearly $60,000 is cost savings.Most recently, I have also taken on the challenge of managing the packaging category.
