In 2017, delivered on all targets and exceeded revenue by 8% and contribution by 18% whilst delivering a digital first strategy and preparing one of the businesses for successful sale.TRANSFORMATIONAL AND ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE• Successfully led the Chemist + Druggist business to a digital first strategy, closing a 158 year old print magazine and increasing engagement to the website by 28% in 2017. • Actively involved in the disposal process of venuefinder.com, meeting potential buyers and ensuring a smooth business transition.• Introduced new processes into the subscription business reducing bad debt by £720k.PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT• Led a cross functional team of 12 to create a new database and website for the C+D Data product. Project delivered on budget and future proofed revenue. • At venuefinder.com, project managed the creation of a platform to allow versioning of data and overnight uploads of changes to the web site leading to a saving c£100k. LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT• Alumni of UBM’s Leadership Development Programme and internal mentor.• Experienced in leading and managing a team of 30 with 8 direct reports. • Instigated departmental strategy meetings which ensured that all strategic goals were budgeted.• Restructured the subscriptions and the data teams on C+D, aligning processes and systems. • Championed team development leading to 8 shortlisted nominations at internal awards in 2018. • Negotiated and managed service level agreements and contracts with external suppliers.

Successfully moved the Conference Blue&Green/venuefinder.com business from a print/CD-ROM and digital product to a digital only product in 2013. This led to a 41% increase in visitor numbers. This product was subsequently sold - actively involved in the disposal process. Established venuefinder.com as the number one venue finding source in the UK with traffic to website increased by 242% from 2008 to 2013.
