I am a distributional ecologist and an established member of the broader biodiversity informatics community with broad experience in biodiversity data mobilization and data use. As active advocate of open-access biodiversity data and resources, I co-directed the first phase of the Biodiversity Informatics Training Curriculum (BITC) and am presently a member of the Biodiversity Information Standards Humboldt Core Task Group (https://www.tdwg.org/community/osr/humboldt-core/). I recently began as a Programme Officer for Science Support at the GBIF Secretariat.
