Responsible for item integrity in a large database of medical/surgical items while implementing and amending contracts for member visibility in contract management systemsEvaluating vendor files, researching medical products and coordinating confidential custom pricing and eligibility while adhering to tight deadlines and adapting to continuously evolving dataResearching, troubleshooting membership visibility issues and correcting discrepanciesProven ability to use contract language comprehension to structure payment terms, eligibility and categorizationGenerating data reports and amendments for systems integrity and resolving conflictsOperated as team lead and primary SME contact in the organizational restructuring of the categorization process projectCollaborating with the sourcing team, administrators, membership, vendors and distributors to ensure contract integrity and communicate contract portfolio changesData Steward Identifying, designing and improving definitions for business concepts in support of the corporate glossary through research and collaboration to improve data understanding and usability across the corporationDefine and manage business entity and attribute terms and definitions, systems of record, metrics and formulas and business rules in IBM’s Information Governance Catalog in an administrator roleThrough collaborative participation with other Data Governance team members, review, modify and present to the Data Stewardship Committee business metadata from all data subject areasReviewing data models with Data Architects to validate conformity to defined business rules and approved business metadata, collaborating to ensure model integrity and alignment with approved business conceptsCollaborating with Business Analysts to gather and document Critical Data Elements (CDEs) including definitions, physical sources and business rules
