I often had to partake in heavy lifting of people and their belongings. I was trusted with pension collection for some patients and had to keep accounts with the company to account for everything bought and received for the person. I often had to perform very personal tasks which helped me value discretion and realise that the people I cared for were not just a job. Many tasks were difficult but I managed to settle into the role quite quickly and found the job extremely fulfilling. Show less
