Leading a full stack team for Creator Retention team

- Led a cross-functional team of 10 engineers across fullstack, web, iOS, and Android- Hired and managed a distributed team spread across 4 time zones (PST to GMT)- Coached engineers on developing technical skills for effective product development; technical decisionmaking, architectural planning, and cross-functional leadership and communication.- Successfully promoted direct reports from junior to senior, and to tech lead role- Recruited directly, interviewed, and hired multiple senior+ engineers, and increased underrepresented and gender diversity from 0% to 40%- Established cross-functional partnerships with product managers, data scientists, designers and researchers to support and build two new work-streams – logged out experience and off-platform share experience- Led experimentation for logged-out app experience on native clients (iOS / Android)- Set baseline for success metrics and experimentation standards for off-platform share workstream- Built a data-driven and experimentation mindset on the team by establishing regular experimentation reviews, ensuring quarterly holdbacks, running opportunity sizing exercises; delivered 10+ client experiments per quarter- Set up on-call processes, goals, and expectations among 30+ client engineers within the org across 3 teams

- Led the team revamping off-platform share experience for Twitter users- Shipped highly visible share features: new Share Sheet UI, Share to third-party app, new url version- Onboarded new team members as the team grew 100% within one year in the role- Mentored and coached junior engineers through bi-weekly 1:1s, career conversations, code reviews, and feedbacks technical design documents- Represented mobile client technologies as part of the group’s cross functional leadership team (product, design, backend eng) during quarterly planning and prioritization

- Built user-facing features like a stand-alone iOS app for celebrities (VITs), bookmarks, moderating replies, sign-up flows, and a developer-facing product (Twitter Kit SDK).- Founded #ios-women engineering group within the company (grew from 4 members to 30+), formed community support, helped members to advance in their career and promotion cycles, and build mentorship relationships
