Key team member of the development team for the design and specification of the CON/SPAN O-Series bridge. Lead on creation and improvement of engineering team's design tools, including a structural database for the new CON/SPAN O-Series bridge. Designated "go to person" for the development of complex CANDE structural models (Culvert Soil Interation program, Culvert ANalysis and DEsign computer program)Responsible for conducting extensive engineering analysis and design of 3 sided precast bridge structures, precast headwalls and precast wingwalls.Maintain a working knowledge of projects in Ohio.

Design responsibilities focused on precast concrete structural design of CON/SPAN and BEBO arches and other underground structures, retaining walls and foundations.Assemble structural submittal calculations, site plans and shop drawings in accordance with LFD and LRFD AASHTO Specifications.Work extensively and have become an expert user of Culvert Soil Interation program, Culvert ANalysis and DEsign computer program (CANDE).Coordinate extensively with CONTECH field representatives, engineers, contractors, developers and state, county, and municipal departments of transportation.Maintain a working knowledge of projects in New York and Pennsylvania regions.Maintain a working knowledge of design codes including AASHTO Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges, AASHTO LRFD Bridge Specifications, AREMA, ACI 318, and PCI.

Designed single retail story buildings of multiple building materials including steel, light gage steel, wood, masonry and concrete.Responsible for implementing designs into an organized calculation package, quality set of structural construction documents and calculations.Worked daily with architects and engineers of other disciplines to coordinate drawings and calculations.Communicated with Contractors and Fabricators in response to Requests For Information (RFI's) and shop drawings review and approval. Maintain a working knowledge of design codes including ASCE 7-05, IBC 2006, ACI 318, AISC, NDS 2005.
