I am an undergraduate at Harvard University, where I plan to study neuroscience and social studies. I am passionate about improving mental health education and access to resources for teenagers. I am particularly interested in understanding how the social landscape of the internet has shaped mental health-related vocabulary, stigma, symptoms, and prevalence. I believe that societal and political improvements regarding mental wellbeing begin with a collective understanding of what mental health is, why it is important, and how it has become an epidemic in today's youth. These commitments lead to a diverse set of studies--from analyzing neurons under a microscope to researching the global impacts of culture, religion, and current events.
