I am currently within my last semester at Kendall College of Art and Design, working towards a bachelor's degree in interior design, with a minor in printmaking. Throughout my college experience, I have developed a creative approach to designing spaces and environments. Playing with color, texture, and form has interested me to create distinct experiences in my design and printmaking work. As a student, I am detail-oriented, focused on the human experience, and create a collaborative attitude in team enviroments. I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, whether through hand rendering, computer visualization, or quick conceptual sketching.Throughout the past two years, I have been able to intern with two incredible companies. During that time, I have grown in confidence as a designer and my knowledge of the industry. Working in a large interior library has given me product knowledge of both commercial and residential applications. Working within the furniture industry has given me much exposure to Neocon, showroom design, and product specification knowledge.I have been very involved in student life throughout my time at Kendall College. I have been able to serve on KCAD's IIDA Student Board for the past three years, planning and creating professional and industry specific events for students at KCAD. This experience has created a strong sense of leadership and collaboration, as well as connections with professionals in the industry.
