I taught Spanish at Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, VA, for fifteen years. I also took students on short term mission trips during Spring break and Summer break with Thomas Road Baptist Church. I volunteered in the cafe of my home church, Blue Ridge Community Church and helped with the leadership team of Divorce Care. I am currently the single mom of four grown sons. Two have graduated from Liberty University. Bobby is married to a wonderful girl and teacher, Randi Wood. Their daughter Bobbi Lynn is my first grandchild. Bobby graduated from Life chiropractic school in Atlanta GA and is now practicing in Marietta GA. Brandon moved to NYC to work for YELP, his first "real" job, but now works for a company that sells an educational platform for on line teachers. Brady is a full time contractor and hvac professional in Charlotte NC. Bryce, the youngest, is working on construction projects all over Virginia but his real passion is sound and video editing. I am currently teaching English on the Word of Life campus in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I plan to spend nine months out of every year doing this as a missionary teacher. I have become involved in my Spanish church and in my community here. In my spare time, (HA!) I like to garden, cook, walk, read, watch ballgames,travel and connect with friends on Facebook and Instagram.
