Dietetic Intern at MUSC Charleston working in clinical, community, food-service, and management positions.

With this internship, I acted as a research intern. I completed projects and research for Dr. Brown to use for her patients and to create videos/pamphlets to educate her clients. Completing this internship provided me with useful techniques on conducting research and how to make the information appropriate for patients to understand.

At this job, I would greet the families at the door and show them to their seat when their table was ready. When it was busy, I had to make sure I was multi-tasking and keep track of the wait list as well as helping clean the tables so the turn around was faster. Other requirements of this position were bussing tables when customers were done and at some times answering the phone for to go orders.
