Ownership of continued development of the events and integrated media solutions business across all of Aspermont’s products with an immediate focus on Global Mining Finance and Investment, alongside the existing publication and research. As well as being the strategic leader of content to optimise the contribution of content to the delivery of commercial goals, held overall responsibility for the production, operations and commercial teams globally.

Informa is one of the UK's top business media companies. As Brand Director, held overall responsibility for the Investment Management portfolio of events across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Included in this portfolio is the FundForum, InsideETFs and NeMa brands. The role ensured the events' continued success through content and strategy, alongside identifying profitable new markets and continuing growth and expansion of the brands. Dealt with all aspects of strategy and delivery via team management, with a focus on utilising digital tools and analysis to ensure product innovation and market leading best practice, benchmarking against competitors and industry.

As the New Product Director, the role was to apply creative skills to develop and produce innovative content. Identification of new markets and sponsor targets, with a focus on creating strong content driven strategies to achieve our client goals. Key to this role was interacting with every area of the company, pitching event proposals to the board, leading sales strategies and ensuring a cohesive and successful business plan for each project. This also included the management of crossfunctional teams.

In this role I ran Investment Week events, launched the InvestmentEurope portfolio of live and digital events in both Europe and Asia and launched the Legal Week brand in Asia. This was a cross-functional management role of the events team, including business development,operations and marketing alongside topic generation and speaker acquisition, as well as managing producers within the team.

Acted as an intermediary between the Exhibiting companies at 2 International Conferences in Hong Kong and Barcelona. Project management of several systems and processes to ensure maximum engagement with the companies including contractor liaison and floorplan management, andencouragement of additional attendance of their senior staff and associated companies. I also developed the launch and planning of the newly concepted Country Pavilions.

Gastech is the premier event in the global gas calendar comprising of a large scale international exhibition and high level conference, serving the entire spectrum of those involved in the Gas Industry.Focused on generating topic ideas, programme content and programme development, along with the Programme Advisory Committee. Engaged with Government bodies, National and International Energy and Oil Companies, and Royalty of the Host country leading to HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces opening the event alongside HE Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. Employed a creative approach to New Product Development for the company including implementing a VIP Programme.

Responsibility for launching and managing the college events including training and research workshops and the first annual alumni event, which was attended by luminaries such as John Varley and Guy Beringer QC.
