I worked in acute and community audiology departments across the Southeast as part of my ongoing MSc in Clinical Audiology at UCC. I received training from the HSE under direct and indirect supervision, in accordance with BSA standards. Under supervision, I performed thorough hearing evaluations (including speech testing), and hearing aid fittings (REMS), and made appropriate referrals. I also provided counseling to patients with hearing loss and tinnitus.

Summer 2021, I received a scholarship from the Health Research Board (HRB) UCC tocontinue my work at Cancer Trials Cork in the Cork University Hospital for a period of 2months. The HRB provides summer scholarships for undergraduate students in health-related disciplines to support their participation in research during the Summer break.The purpose of the student scholarships is to encourage an interest in research and togive the student an opportunity to become familiar with research techniques.
