As a Teaching Assistant (TA) for psychology research methods, I helped students understand the course material through in-class assistance and outside office hours. As a TA for advanced statistics for psychology and psychology and law, I aided the professor with grading and the organizational aspect of the course.

I assisted new students in moving in and getting settled, went through alcohol, substance, and sexual health related training so I was prepared in moments of emergency as well as a knowledgeable peer in my dorm, helped plan events to provide opportunity for students to meet new people, made myself available to provide academic advice and offer emotional support when possible as well as to guide students towards campus resources, and was the on-call RC for 2 weekends per semester making me the point person when individuals experienced things such as getting locked out of one's dorm.

I conducted psychology and legal studies research with Professor Jennifer Groscup.

I worked as lifeguard for the Scripps school pool and attended several professional development trainings each semester.

I attended practices twice a week, travelled for competition, and got to play in the 2022 and 2023 Division 2 Women's Rugby 15s National Championships in Houston, Texas as well as in the 2024 Division 1 Women’s Rugby 7s National Championship in Washington, DC. I was a captain and ran additional cardio practices for our August 2023-May 2024 season.

I helped run 2 hour rehearsals 3 times a week and performed in concerts with my group. I also met with my leadership team for at least an hour each week to talk about administrative and logistical issues.

I have worked for several families with children ages 1-14 as a babysitter.

As a child specialist intern I planned activities for child residents based on weekly themes to promote youth engagement, took children on field trips, formed relationships with children, and talked with them about their feelings about Tubman, summer, the upcoming school year, and more, and created bulletin boards and found educational resources as well as events in the community for families to attend.

I lived in a cabin with six 10-11 year old girls for a month and helped campers learn independence through cabin clean up as well as setting up for and cleaning up after meals, I worked on communication skills with campers through nightly cabin meetings where issues could freely be addressed, and I learned how to help homesick campers live with the homesickness and make the most of their summer. I also helped plan and put on larger group activities.

I assisted children in various activities and assignments, answered questions and offered additional one on one support to students who required it, helped students improve their reading, writing, math, and communication skills, and helped handle and solve minor disputes amongst students.
