I have been the Director of my own business - Kate’s Customs - since starting to work full time on it in 2020. Whilst developing it into a profitable business turning over thousands of pounds per year, my role has included developing and managing several PR campaigns, writing marketing copy, launching and growing social media channels (including filming and editing viral videos), building my own website and running SEO optimisation as well as designing and making the items themselves.

Headhunted by Zyper along with 50 others internationally to work with Adidas to promote the release of their new Maker Lab documentary, featuring reconstruction of the Campus 80 range. I was asked to provide and publish my opinions on the newly released models to my social channels.

Sourcing and designing furniture for a one-bedroom apartment in the centre of Battle, to be rented as an Airbnb property. Began the project by creating a mood board for the owner to showcase my creative vision for the flat. The role involved research, project management, design work, financial data management, and regular liaison with the property owner. I was also the lead negotiator responsible for sourcing furniture at a reasonable price and had a role in recycling old products. The flat has since had significant success on the market.

Intern reporting directly into the curator of a major exhibition helping to organise archived pieces for the Fashion & Textiles Museum in Central London. This role involved data and archive management, product upkeep, and other organisational and administrative tasks as directed by the curator. Helped to produce the 2018 exhibition 'Orla Kiely: A Life in Pattern'.
