I led Operations and Administration for the Global Advocacy team at Tearfund, an international non-profit that specializes in international development across 50+ countries. I liaised across multiple teams within Global Advocacy, acting as a central point of contact for several areas of Tearfund's work, spanning workflow strategy, bookkeeping, and more. As the administrative focal point, I managed several team calendars and shared drives, take notes across all key meetings, draft and distribute key materials to support the ongoing work of relevant teams, and lead on refining and communicating our internal ways of working. I supported on the delivery of bootcamp training online for activists in Zambia.

Led a cross-cultural team of young volunteers in North Bangladesh, delivering a range of courses aimed at youth empowerment and sustainable livelihood. I oversaw and co-ordinated a variety of projects including Leadership, Social Business, First Aid, and Youth Group which were taught in schools and to organisations. A key part of my role was ensuring the smooth running of projects as well as motivating my team through providing pastoral support and care. Contributing towards Global Sustainable Development Goals and becoming 'active' citizens was at the heart of this volunteering experience, and I enjoyed using my skills to encourage locals as well as British volunteers to feel mobilised and empowered for action in their everyday choices.
