Since graduating in 2020 I have gained experience in both NHS and Private hospitals in Scotland in areas including Orthopaedics, A&E, MSK,ICU, Acute Medicine and Stroke. Alongside this, I have worked at Scotland’s National Sports Performance Centre as physiotherapist for both Academy Teams and the Women’s Firsts Team at Heart of Midlothian Football Club.I decided to return to Ireland and specialise as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist within private practice and further develop my sports physiotherapy skills. I currently work in private practice as well as with rugby and GAA teams and continue to develop and learn by engaging in weekly CPD. I have a keen interest Strength and conditioning/exercise prescription and linking this to athletic rehabilitation and return to play. I also enjoy post operative rehabilitation. I take pride in assessing and diagnosing conditions and ensuring the patient understands exactly what is causing their problem, how physiotherapy can help and what their physiotherapy treatment and programming will involve. I use a combination of massage, manual therapy techniques and individualised exercise programmes in order to maximise functional ability and recovery from injury. Outside of physiotherapy, I enjoy hiking, triathlons, rugby, tennis, surfing and CrossFit.
