Working with the Projects & Finance team across the Asia Pacific region on a variety of power and infrastructure projects, including most recently:* Working with Sponsors in relation to a number of PPP projects in Australia and New Zealand, including social infrastructure and transport* Acting for Sponsors and Financiers on a number of renewable energy projects in Australia including solar pv and wind* Advising Destination Brisbane Consortium on the Queen's Wharf Project including in relation to bankability and financing issues* Acting for a Lender on various development and construction projects (including working collaboratively with Real Estate colleagues on property due diligence), including drafting facility documentation and negotiating intercreditor arrangements* Assisting a property developer with finance and security arrangements for an $850 million redevelopment project at Eagle Farm Racecourse in Queensland.* Advising Palladium Group on its acquisition and corporate debt facilities from HSBC Australia* Advising Sagitarrius Mines Inc (a related entity of Xstrata) in connection with the joint development of a 400MW coal fired power plant for its Tampakan Gold-Copper Mine including negotiating the power purchase agreement* Acting for Fortescue Metals Group in connection with the potential sell down of its Pilbara mine to port infrastructure including with respect to general due diligence and customer and service contracts * Advising SunWater Limited in connection with various water infrastructure projects including in relation to possible funding structures for their portfolio of assets and greenfield financing arrangements * Advising Linc Energy Limited in connection with its financing needs including domestic working capital facilities, interplay with their US Bond and Singapore listed Convertible Bond and acquisition financing* Providing support on Australian law aspects of offshore financing transactions

I was seconded to SunWater from DLA Piper, initially as a Senior Commercial Lawyer in the Water & Commercial Team and then as a Legal Manager in the Water & Commercial Team. While at SunWater I was involved in a number of water infrastructure projects at various stages and also provided general commercial advice on diverse issues including regulatory compliance, IT contracts, procurement and consultancy arrangements. While at SunWater, I was promoted to fill the role of Legal Manager, directly supervising a team of 5 (comprised of lawyers, paralegal and administrative staff) and collaborating with the Corporate Counsel with respect to broader team management and leadership.

Specialising in Project Finance and general Corporate Finance with an emphasis on energy and resources companies in South East Asia. While with Latham & Watkins, my work included roles on the following transactions:* Acting for Commercial Banks and ECA Lenders to the Paiton 3 Coal Fired Power Station* Acting for Pertamina on their USD and IDR tranche corporate loan facilities* Acting for Commercial Lenders to Adaro and Protelindo on various corporate loan facilities* Acting for Avenue Capital Group on a number of transactions relating to toll road, hotel and water infrastructure in Indonesia

I was seconded full-time to QIC from Mallesons Stephen Jaques. At QIC, I was primarily responsible for derivatives documentation and had a key role in implementing credit support for QIC's exposure, working closely with the Compliance & Risk teams. I also gave legal advice on a variety of day-to-day issues, including a key software integration project.

I completed the Mallesons Graduate program, with rotations in Intellectual Property & Technology, Banking & Finance and Litigation, before settling into the Banking & Finance practice. While in the Banking & Finance team, my work focussed on securitisation, debt capital markets and general corporate finance.
