Bird on a Wire Creations is a store and a community of people who support artists, artisans, and the buy local movement. Owned and operated by Kate Nagel, we curate Vancouver’s best art and artisanal objects —all one-of-a-kind, all handmade. We strive to create a supportive environment where new and established artists and artisans can learn from each other and bring their wares to market without investing in nasty overhead. We provide the staff, space and traffic to help create sustainable incomes. We host and collaborate on a variety of community and educational events. Including, our Private Views, Friday Night Crafting Group, Felting classes, First Thursdays and other pop-up events and workshops. We welcome partnership proposals.
