I have over 12 years of experience in outsourcing, procurement, and supplier management within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of driving business value, innovation, and performance improvement. As Head of Outsourcing at Tesco Underwriting, I led a team that managed the end to end contract life cycles, governance and risks of material outsourced services; IT services and claims operational services. I provided category management for all other suppliers, i.e. data tools and professional services for all business functions within the company. During my time leading the Ageas Claims supply chain, I developed and embedded a procurement and supplier management framework for motor and home supply chains. I was an active member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Claims Director. I am passionate about sustainability and EDI. I sponsored the D&I strategy and action plan for the Claims function, supporting talent mapping and career development. I led the claims ESG strategy, developing the sustainability vision and mission for claims supply chain. I hold a MCIPS certification from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, demonstrating my professional competence and ethical standards in contract management, negotiation, risk management, and business relationship management. I am passionate about developing and maintaining effective and collaborative partnerships with suppliers, leveraging my skills in communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management. I am also passionate about life long learning and development. I am in my final year of study for a Business Management degree, on track for first class honours.
