Kate Nihill is a member of the firm’s Technology Sector, where she specializes in the EdTech, Consumer Tech, and Social Impact Tech verticals, with a particular focus on content-driven businesses. She is a trusted client advisor, leveraging deep human resources and operations experience to provide market-leading insight and tailored talent solutions. Kate works with clients of all sizes and geographies to identify, assess and develop senior executives to build effective leadership teams. She is based in New York.Kate joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Sony Pictures Entertainment in Los Angeles, where she was a Director, People & Organization. In this role, Kate was Chief of Staff to the CHRO and worked closely with senior executives across lines of business on organizational design, talent strategy, and diversity and inclusion. She also shepherded the studio’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. Previously, Kate spent five years with The Tobin Project, a nonprofit social science research organization, where she was Director of Operations. She also worked with the Career & Professional Services Development Center at Harvard Business School.Kate holds a BA in government and American studies from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
