Kate Nord has written the lyrics for the Italian Progressive Metal band Noveria's albums "Forsaken" (Scarlet Records, 2016) and "Risen" (Scarlet Records, 2014)."Forsaken" is a concept album which portrays the emotions of a person afflicted with terminal illness. The story revolves around the theory of five stages of grief by dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance."Forsaken" is the first concept album written on this theme by a metal band. The album also features a vocal performance by Kate on its fourth track "When Everything Falls".The band's first release "Risen" was chosen best Newcomer of 2014 by Metalunderground.com.The lyrics speak about the theme of struggling to survive in a system that works against you and finding your inner strength through communication with other people similar to you.
