I’m thrilled to join the NCI team and I am very excited to step into my new role as the PR & Events Executive. NCI is an exciting place with broad and dynamic education opportunities. I will be writing copy for the website, for press releases, pitching features, and showcasing the wonderful achievements of the college as well as being involved in the planning, running, and promoting of exciting events.

In November 2022 I had the opportunity to be a CBI Book Doctor at one of the amazing CBI Book Clinics. Working at the Dublin Book Festival as a CBI Book Doctor was a dream, and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. I hope there will be more book clinics in my future!

This is a voluntary position. I am part of the children's book reviewer team at Children's Books Ireland. Books are sent to me. I submit a 250 word review & an age recommendation. My reviews are published on the official CBI website.

As an editorial and publicity assistant at Beehive Books, my duties include working with authors and the Irish media to organise interviews, articles, reviews, book signings, and workshops. I work with the editorial and design teams to create social media campaigns for each title. I create the social media posting schedule along with writing the captions for each post. I help create, proofread, and circulate promotional materials such as newsletters, AI sheets, and press releases, as well as updating systems such as Nielsen book data. I also create and share publicity spreadsheets for each author so that everyone in the office is up to date, as well as assisting with other office admin.

Pharmacy Sales Assistant duties included serving customers, stocking shelves, taking orders, completing stock checks, manning the phones/tills, assisting with prescriptions, creating hampers, keeping the shop floor neat & tidy, general admin & occasional social media advertising work on the company's Instagram page.

Intermittent Work Experience During Secondary School. Duties included keeping the general area neat & tidy, taking orders, manning the phones/tills, creating bouquets & floral hampers, designing & decorating the storefront windows displays.
