I am a skilled and highly adaptable health professional with over 10 years’ experience in both the public and private health sectors. I have experience working in a range of health settings and bring with me a unique mix of clinical and project skills. I am a strategic thinker with a pragmatic lens and put the patient at the centre of all the work I perform. I enjoy working on innovative programs that have the goal to improve the health outcomes of our communities.I am passionate about health and wellness and keeping people out of hospital. I strongly believe in a proactive approach to health, rather than reactive. Understanding the root cause of why people become unwell is the key to enabling healthy communities.I have been fortunate to work for some of the largest heath providers in the Greater Newcastle Region, including Hunter New England Local Health District, Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network, and nib Health Funds. My combination of clinical and project management skills enable me to deliver outcomes that are strategic, achievable and most importantly patient centred.
