As a former educator, I am passionate about seeking opportunities to transfer my teaching expertise to support a team of professionals in a fast paced, positive and collaborative work environment. I have gained valuable skills in the classroom that are highly transferable to other industries. Teachers wear a lot of different hats throughout the day: teacher, counselor, tech support specialist, administrative assistant, referee, coach, I could go on! This has given me a terrific work ethic, and the ability to pivot and be flexible to meet current needs. It has also allowed me to develop a variety of skills outside teaching itself: organization, attention to detail, multitasking, communication, balancing multiple projects and more. Every day in the classroom is different. You never know what your students are going to enter class with that day, so being ready with a variety of supports and being flexible is key! I am excited to take my skills and apply them to a different industry. I am seeking a better work life balance where I can work as part of a collaborative team and have access to opportunities for growth. I am hard working, friendly, and take my work very seriously. I only want to put forth my best and openly receive and apply feedback. As a teacher, life long learning is one of my core philosophies and I try to apply it everyday. I was an educator for eleven years and still have students reach out to tell me that I was their favorite teacher. While I will miss making that impact on young minds, I am very enthusiastic about finding a position that will value all that I have to bring to the table. I hope to speak with you soon!
