I am a qualified Primary School teacher, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Coach and Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner as well as an Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner, trained in Understanding Mental Health, Understanding Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Life Coaching and a Growth Mindset advocate with over 20 years’ experience working within the education and training sector. Being a teacher has allowed me to recognise where I believe there are gaps in the development of children and this has led me down the much rewarding path of mental health. I have always been really interested in why some children and adults achieve and why others don’t and all of my wonderings have been answered when I look at mental health, self-esteem, growth mindset and mindfulness. My passion for mental health has led to me teaching Life Coaching skills and understanding that if we can work on changing our thoughts then we really can change our lives. And yes, our thoughts and life outlook can be changed!I am Co-Founder of The Mind Gig Ltd.

It will teaches people everything they need, in order to be resilient in the face of life’s challenges, with a focus on building self-confidence and reassurance in order to live a happy and successful life.The schools programme we have is proactive in that it will teach children strategies they can take with them throughout their lives, to better cope with whatever challenges they may face. Learning and understanding the basics of the brain and how we can work with our thoughts and emotions rather than have them control and manage us!
