I taught first grade in the 2023-2024 school year. With students, I taught all subjects, which included foundational skills, reading, math, social studies, science and personal learning time where I worked with Tier 2 and Tier 3 students in reading. I moved up to third grade for the current 2024-2025 school year where I teach all subjects, which includes reading, math, science, social studies, and personalized learning time where I support Tier 1 students in reading and Tier 2 students in math. In addition to teaching, I coach the school cross country team in the fall season and a running club in the spring season. I also teach at the Enriching Scholars program, which meets on Saturday's to provide additional learning to students.

Earned a M.Ed in Reading Education. I studied reading practices and applied it through practicum experience for grades K-12.

-Oversaw and managed all chapter operations, including but not limited to day-to-day activities and long-term projects-Led the executive board-Maintained contact and represented Kappa Alpha Theta to the Fraternity and Sororities Office at Bucknell University as well as Kappa Alpha Theta Nationals-Presided over a cabinet of 17 officers and the entire chapter of 120 women

-Diligently took and submitted weekly meeting minutes of the executive board-Organized, planned, and implemented visits from Kappa Alpha Theta Nationals -Coordinated and oversaw the elections of officers-Served as next in line to the chapter president

-Responsible for a group of young elementary-aged children during a summer camp program-Planned and participated in activities such as swimming, kayaking, group sports and arts and crafts

-Co-led a hall of first-year students through their initial days at Bucknell University and helped them acclimate to the new environment-Attended intensive training before the first-year students arrived on campus and provided additional support to each student throughout the first semester

-Tutored local elementary students once a week in all academic areas
