Lead and establish activities, action plans and all necessary steps to deliver infrastructure to meet the growth imperative strategies set by Council. Work with external and internal stakeholders and partners to develop and prepare engineering and environmental processes including investigations into zero waste, district energy systems, high efficient building designs, reduction of on-site retention of stormwater through innovative technologies such as LID, reduction of wastewater through aggressive water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and grey water reuse, development of wastewater reuse technology within the context of sustainable community development and other green utilities. Manage the completion of long range transportation planning studies to ensure consistency with growth imperative. Ensure ongoing development, maintenances of the off-Site Levy Framework. Work with private developers, development associations, other municipalities, Department heads and other orders of government to establish a framework that is mutually support and economically socially and environmentally sustainable for the City. Oversee market, risk and revenue feasibility analysis in relation to alternative solutions and integrated green utilities.Provide oversight and develop processes to ensure the integration of new land development solutions and green utilities into statutory and community planning documents.Oversee the preparation of a long term capital and operational plan and budget for recommended innovative solutions.

Accountable for the creation and maintenance of all engineering policies, bylaws, strategic plans, and business plans that ensures the long term sustainable growth of the City of St. Albert. Liaise with other Divisions, Department Heads, private developers, consultants, contractors and Utility providers to ensure that municipal infrastructure are developed in a manner that supports the growth imperative manner using sound engineering and fiscal management practices. Accountable for the maintenance and updating of the City of St. Albert Engineering Standards as well as the quality assurance and control of the application of those standards by all engineers within the organization and will serve as a advisor and technical mentor to engineers within the Division and throughout the organization.

My role focuses on the long term development plan of St Albert from an engineering and planning perspective. The role bridges the gap between engineering and planning ensuring the vision and direction taken in development is concurrent with the direction approved.

As a project manager in the water and wastewater group, I manage and deliver projects throughout Alberta. Handling regional transmission systems, reservoirs, lift stations, forcemains, and feasibility studies. I complete the final reviews, correspond with clients and qualify that the design team is meeting the needs and expectations of the project deliverables. As a group we deliver modelling projects including tansient analysis, feasibility and asset assessment as well as detailed design of water and wastewater systems. My research and technical background is in water and wastewater treatment, from physical treatment, biological reactors and tiertiary disinfection and filtration systems.

As a Junior Engineer I am responsible for municipal designs on projects and project management. GENIVAR has projects across Canada, and specifically within Alberta we are represented throughout many of the smaller communities across Alberta, as well as the major urban centers. Within Alberta we cover projects from roads and transportation, land development, municipal infrastructure including lift stations, lagoons, water treatment and numerous other areas, as well as bridges, environmental , and wind energy.
