Hi there! My name is Kate and I'm an aspiring sustainable product developer with en emphasis on circularity and repairability. I'm a senior at Oregon State University- Cascades studying outdoor products with a minor in sustainability. Working at Fjallraven for over a year as their resident retail tailor, I have further developed my sewing and problem solving skills to successfully repair and alter numerous garments while simultaneously growing my knowledge of garment construction. In this role I've also learned great communication skills, customer service skills, problem solving skills, and honed my attention to detail. Currently, I'm on the lookout for an internship in the ideation or prototyping area of product design to further build on my skills. I love working in teams and exploring creative, sustainable solutions to everyday consumer problems. I'm looking forward to meeting you and learning about new opportunities!
