This led to positive council advocacy to government on our behalf, a more collaborative approach to recognising and managing passenger challenges and better communications and support for our new depots and depot works.• Led the development of a Safe Travel for Seniors campaign in 2015 with support from the Department of Health and Human Services. Post campaign survey results showed 70% of 500 respondents felt that they had a better understanding of potential risks — Transdev was subsequently asked to co-sign the Victorian Age Friendly Declaration and we presented to Public Transport Victoria (PTV) and the Municipal Association of Victoria.• Rolled out communications strategies for multiple service/timetable changes in conjunction with PTV. Oversaw community and council consultation and the creation and dissemination of customer information.• Developed and implemented the media relations strategy, managed proactive and reactive media.• Managed crisis communications during the 2017 Bourke Street Incident including messaging for drivers, direct messaging to customers via social media and liaison with PTV’s communications team.• Repurposed a free app to improve employee communications.
