Her documentary, THE RETURN, chronicling Ford's historic return to Les Mans, received widespread acclaim upon its release on Amazon Prime. Her contributions to the documentary genre have been lauded, with films like BIRTH STORY becoming part of the academic curricula at institutions Harvard and Yale. Notable works also include YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME, a documentary about musician Roky Erickson (13th Floor Elevators), which earned Independent Spirit Award nominations and accolades at the Silver Docs festival. Roughan has also worked in the non profit arts community, producing the off-screen content series for Sundance Film Festival, featuring creative visionaries.
