As a senior procurement advisor for the Pensions Regulator I worked across a diverse range of areas such as IT, Facilities, communications and Expert Services for Pensions.Achievements included;• Was a key player in achieving the government requirement to drive 10% in savings across all contracts.• Implemented 2 new large framework agreements for Expert Services and Pensions Admin services• Tendered and replaced the MFD fleet in 2011 and the new replacement fleet in 2015 and tendered and implemented a consultancy agreement for the Strategic IT development programme, the replacement Facilities Management services contract and the new strategic HR recruitment partner for permanent and fixed term employees. • Key implementer in the strategic development of new procurement documents such as evaluation report papers, evaluation handbooks and pricing evaluation structures.

Achievements in this role include the following;• Applied new tendering process to reduce overall bid prices to successfully award a new contract for a bespoke software system after previous contract failure due to costs (prior to my arrival). The first stage has been successfully delivered. • Devised new strategic direction for large Industrial Cleaning contract and successfully implemented the new contract. • Led the Tender and negotiation process for the purchase of a New Control System for the Kwinana Gas Turbine achieving significant savings. • Implemented a new stationery policy across the organisation.• Completed a number of Framework contracts for Air Emissions Monitoring, Architectural Services, Immigration & Visa services, IT contracting staff and Tax consulting.

Implemented Procurement Cards across the Council in line with National Procurement Strategy Milestones.Lead Project Manager for the £1 Million refurbishment of Mitcham, Morden and Wimbledon libraries. This involved the full internal refit of three large borough libraries including redecorations, book storage, furniture and new stock.
